About us

The Farmyard

Stickney Farm Park has been created with children in mind! Children of all ages can meet and learn about the animals in our farmyard. You can see a few comments from visitors to the farm park by

Childrens farm park in LincsYou can meet them up close when you feed them with our special pellets - not forgetting to hold your hand out flat - and stroke or groom them, feed the ducks and geese on the pond or the hens in the field and also collect their eggs.

At certain times you can see chicks hatching out in their incubator. There are clear signs on pens and paddocks with simple information that can be read by children followed by more detailed information for interpretation by adults.

Please ensure that you and the children in your charge wash your hands thoroughly after touching the animals or the gates, and above all before eating.

This area provides homes for smaller animals such as chipmunks, tortoises, hamsters, gerbils and mice.

Play Areas
kids play area Boston Lincs
Play areas allow children to play safely and let off steam and are located near the reception and tea-room.

There is one play area for 2 to 5 year olds and a second for 4 to 8 year olds and a third for 5 to 12 year olds, all three sited on safety grass.

The former two play areas have a turnstile, sit-in spring mobile "Holly Hedgehog", sit-on mobile "Rocking Rooster", Woodland Cottage and multi-play system comprising: roof tower, double tower, ramp with handrails, double slide, causeway, hexagon tunnel, cheeky monkey climbing wall, lookout barrier, semi-scoop barrier and 2 flat barriers. This choice of equipment has been installed as it is designed for inclusive play, with both disabled and non-disabled children in mind.

The final play area has 2 towers with roofs, sloping climbing wall, open slide, arch pole slider, vertical rope ladder, two play barriers, and a bridge. In addition there will be a trampoline with safety arena.

Ride-on pedal tractors, a sand pit and toys all add to the fun to be had at Stickney Farm Park. At special times of the year there will be a bouncy play barn.
